Up in the attic
A man eating plant growing out of the wall
A doll ten foot tall
A creaking old door
A spooky red light in the corner, right there
The black bats that stare
A gust of cold air
A clanking suit of rusty armour
An old cracked mirror
and mouldy bat fur
An ancient gramophone playing creepy songs
The endless ding dongs
of a grandfather clock gone wrong
A chipped wooden leg being nibbled by rats
Remains of a cat
A dusty old mat
But I'm wondering whether I could be right
So I switch on the light
All that fright!
for nothing.
